• Use a clear, well-lit, in-focus photo — natural daylight works best

• Make sure the subject is front-facing and takes up most of the frame

• For fingerprints and hand/footprints, use a high-contrast ink print on plain paper, photographed straight-on

• Avoid shadows, glare, blurry shots, or busy backgrounds

• Higher resolution images engrave with more detail — please avoid heavily filtered or low-quality screenshots
